Cards

Winter Wonderland

I was looking for winter-themed paper the other day so I pulled out some older Simon Says Stamp kits. I used some of the paper for some tags but with the kit out, I decided to make a quick card.

When a kit comes with stickers and paper with ‘cut-apart’ sheets, make a card is super easy even without using the matching stamp set. In my crafty vocabulary, ‘cut-apart’ sheets are papers with little squares, tags or borders that can be used as is but seem to be made to cut apart and use as sentiments, accents or focal images on your projects. I’m sure you’ve seen them before. If they have a real name, let me know! Everything except the white cardstock, glitter embossing powder and the Nuvo Drops came in the kit. All of the elements are by Doodlebug. It did have white cs but I had already used it up. I cut the snowy hill by hand then applied Versamark ink heat setting it with white sparkle embossing powder.

Enjoy and Happy Winter, Rebecca
