This is my third and last Coffee Lovers Bloghop card. I’d make more but the hop is almost over! So if you want to join, today is it!
I used the cup image from the Coffee & Tea set by Simon Says Stamp and paper pieced it using a Simple Stories paper pack. The lid was coloured with Copic markers and I also added some Copic shading to the patterned paper. It’s a bit hard to tell here but the dark brown paper is woodgrain. I love using woodgrain so I also added it to the sentiment. The embellishment is woodgrain paper layered over 3 fine linen card stock (PTI) layers. It ends up looking like a thick wood veneer piece tho! Cool right? The stamps and die are by Honey Bee stamps from Flakey Sentiments.
The other elements, the skis and flower clusters, are from the matching die cuts pack and the ‘hot cocoa’ mini sentiment is from the sticker pack. Sorry the photo is so unevenly lit. I tried taking photos in my usual way at first but when I enlarged them, the light played a trick on the mini sentiment under the larger wood sentiment making it appear like I’d stamped it double. So I took new photos but the only angle without the weird trick of the light meant I had to angle the card further towards one light. So one side is bright and the other dark. But the sentiment looks right now!
I added a closeup so you could see my Copic colouring. I quite liked it.
Enjoy, Rebecca
This is SO sweet.
